GREENWORKS BARNSLEY

Greenworks is owned and run by twin brothers Jonathan and Julian Senior. Both are qualified Post-16 teachers with a specialism in LLDD (learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).

Jonathan and Julian have taught within the Further Education sector for over 10 years. The 5 acre Care Farm they run in Cawthorne near Barnsley offers a therapeutic environment for a range of people to engage in real work and interaction with a range of livestock.

Both have experience of delivering Independent Living Skills, Personal and Social Development, Employability skills and have taught on a number of vocational courses including horticulture, cooking personal development and care.

Greenworks provide supported employment through agriculture and horticulture for people with learning disabilities/difficulties.

We aim to develop employment skills by working as part of a team in:

• Grounds Maintenance
• Growing food and selling plant and produce (Enterprise) 
• Caring for a range of livestock
