Personal Assist South Yorkshire provides quality care and support to adults and children living with physical and learning disabilities, neurodiversity and mental health challenges.
Established in 2017, they provide care and support services throughout Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield and Doncaster.
They work with individuals who wish to be remain independent in the comfort of their own home and want control to live their life, the way they want. They are able to provide flexible person centred support, from a few hours support to complex 24/7 around the clock care to support you to stay independent at home.
Personal Assist also provide specialist 24/7 care and support within their residential care homes located in South Yorkshire, to young adults who have complex physical care needs and mental health and behaviour difficulties.
The support they provide:
Personal Assist provide complex care support and their staff are trained to provide support in
- personal care
- medication
- PEG
- epilepsy care and the administration of buccal midazolam.
Their staff are also trained to deliver positive behaviour support.
They provide respite care which can include days, sleeping or waking nights within your own home and offers an alternative to residential care.
Personal Assist provide specialist care to young adults within their residential care homes and provide solo or shared accommodation. They are able to offer 1-1 or 2-1 support where required.
They are able to work with a number of different funding options such as direct payments, self funded and NHS funded.
Registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission and rated 'Good' (March 2023).
