Description
Royston Canal Club look after a three quarter mile stretch of Royston Canal between Shaw Lane, Carlton and Church Hill, Royston.
It is run as a angling/fishing venue but we also look after and maintain it for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers etc, with plenty of wildlife to see too.
It is open to the whole community and is best appreciated with 2 gold and platinum awards in the last three years from the Yorkshire in Bloom awards.
It's a lovely place for a gentle walk and a natter in the fresh air with friendly people.
