Shaw Lane is the home to the region’s most ambitious sports sides; Barnsley Archery Club, Barnsley Bowling Club, Barnsley Cricket Club, Barnsley Harriers Athletics Club, Barnsley RUFC, Barnsley Squash Club and Shaw Lane FC Junior Football.

With something for every age group, we are also home of a variety of activities, groups and charities which you can get involved with. 

Shaw Lane is also available to hire for functions and events.  We understand the importance of a professionally conducted event to dazzle and impress from small functions to a gala event and we can offer you all the flexibility you need to turn your wedding dreams into reality.

We also offer a wide range of suites available for conferences and training days.  With extensive outdoor facilities and fantastic catering, we can also cater for away days and team building workshops.
