Dearne Valley Care Centre is close to the former South Yorkshire mining communities of Bolton upon Dearne and Goldthorpe.

Dearne Valley is a purpose built care centre for older people. With 20 residential care beds and 20 dedicated to residents with dementia, Dearne Valley has recently been refurbished and re-decorated to create a cosy and comfortable home. All 33 single rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and modern equipment to ensure the health and safety of residents with limited mobility.

Set in the heart of the community, Dearne Valley Care Home is a cosy, comfortable sanctuary for its residents. The range of facilities include

• Regular pub lunches, which are a firm favourite.

The town of Rotherham offers a variety of exploring and sightseeing opportunities for residents and their visitors. Wentworth Garden Centre is a wonderful, 16-acre expanse of greenery and flora to explore or simply admire from the warmth of the restaurant. A short drive away from the Care Home in Rotherham is the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre; a fantastic place to spend a day making memories. Alternatively, take a trip down memory lane at the National Emergency Services Museum, home to thousands of exhibits, 26 exhibition areas and 45 old-fashioned vehicles.
