Description
We offer remote, low-cost counselling, providing high-quality, inclusive and accessible counselling.
Initial assessments are free of charge, and counselling session fees are offered on a sliding scale, based on individual annual income, with sessions starting from just £10 per hour.
Counselling is a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space to talk with a therapist about your feelings, emotions and behaviours. Our counsellors help you to explore and process your thoughts and feelings, gain a better understanding of your emotions, processes and behaviours, and find your own solutions to your problems. Our service focuses on inclusivity, compassion, and respect, ensuring that everyone who seeks help feels valued and understood.
We also offer youth and adult workshops, youth mentoring and organisational training.
The Altering Group was founded with a deep commitment to supporting young people and adults, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds or underrepresented groups, with the aim of addressing the lack of opportunities, guidance and support for those individuals.
We welcome all individuals, regardless of their personal circumstances, as we believe everyone has the right to access the support and services they need.
We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our service users, in communities and in society.
This service is not a crisis service and so we are unable to support those in need of immediate support or crisis interventions.
