Description

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we are unable to meet at the moment.  Please continue to follow government guidelines and if you need any further information please contact BIADS on 01226 280057

Provides meaningful fun activities for people with dementia. Our activity workers and dedicated volunteers aim to create a sense of well being, of achievement, and confidence whilst providing a range of activities to suit most abilities.

Activities can include, jigsaws, card games and dominoes, reminiscence sessions using Memory Bank resources, craft work, brass cleaning, adult colouring, flower arranging and group games like indoor bowling. The list is endless and limited only by our imagination and available space and resources.

Eligibility: Referrals are through our carer support service. The person with dementia must be physically able to participate in an activity (and we have a wide range to suit most abilities) and must benefit from the group. The group runs for ten weeks
