Who we are

Young People's Substance Misuse Service is a free and confidential service offering advice and information about drugs and alcohol to any young person aged 10 to 18 years old and their family.

Description

Our aim is to ensure that children and young people are supported to stay safe and live happier, healthy lives. We support them to reach their full potential to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing.

An allocated worker will encourage you to be honest with yourself and give you a confidential space to go over your issues. We offer one to one support in a convenient venue of your choice (School, GP’s surgery, home).

We also offer the following range of interventions dependant to your needs including:

  • Advise and information on drugs and alcohol, blood borne virus screening/advise and physical and mental health.
