Fishing at Thurnscoe Reservoir

Description

This is a fairly small lake, with plenty of pegs, around 25-30 pegs. It has a number of reed beds to fish up against or to, also has 2 very large pegs for disabled anglers, and has an average depth of 6ft.

The Large supply of fish includes a large head of silver fish, i.e. roach, Roach, skimmers and perch. There is a large number of bream and Pike well into double figures. Tench, a small head of chub, and various types of carp including, commons, mirrors, leathers and maybe the odd ghosty or two. All the king carp species in the lake push double figures.

So a great place to fish for every type of Angler.
