IDAS - INDEPENDENT DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES

Our inclusive and accessible services are provided across North Yorkshire, Sheffield and Barnsley, supporting thousands of people each year.

As well as providing practical support and accommodation, we have designed services to help people overcome the traumatic impacts of domestic abuse.  Our services include:

• Helpline 8am - 8pm Mon - Fri & 11am - 8pm weekends and Bank Holidays
• IDVA support - short and long term. Specialist IDVA support for Gypsy Roma Traveller, BAME, Disability, Male, Family Court and Older people
• Women’s refuges and dispersed accommodation
• One to one support
• Group work
• On-line support and our helpline which is available 365 days a year. 
• We also support children and young people who’ve lived with abuse.
• Domestic abuse and families
• Domestic abuse and the justice system
• Victims with no recourse to public funds
• Male victims of domestic abuse
• LGBTQ+ victims of domestic abuse
• Services for perpetrators
• Training for professionals
