Description
Founded in 2015, Alison and Charlotte began working with Belmont WMC to transform the wasteland at the back of the club into the beautiful flower and vegetable garden and so much more that it is today.
With the help of a group of hard working volunteers from the local community, NCS and West Meadow School, Owd' Martha's Yard now has raised beds full of colourful flowers, seating areas to relax and ponder or enjoy your lunch, children's handmade games, hopscotch, Kerplunk and noughts and crosses, an enchanted wood area and a resident fairy!
You are welcome to help as little or as often as you would like. We are able to accommodate all levels of capability and don't worry if you think you aren't green fingered, there are plenty of things to do!
